Subject: [HoodACM] Gaming Competition with Mt. St. Mary's University on

ACMers,

The ACM chapter at Mt. St. Mary's University has invited us to compete 
in a day of computer gaming with them on Sunday, November 13, from 1:00 
to 8:00 PM.  They are bringing the following games:

Counter-Strike
Call of Duty
StarCraft

Anyone who wishes to attend should email me back (cory@tanatopia.net) as 
soon as possible so I can the Mt. St. Mary's chapter know how many 
people they'll be hosting.  Additionally, anyone with a car that is 
willing to help drive should let me know how many people they can fit. 
I'll cover all gasoline costs.

Anyone who wishes to play will need to bring his/her own computer.  If 
you wish to come but do not wish or are not able to bring a computer of 
your own, let me know, as we may be able to scrounge one up for you.  If 
you have an extra computer you'd be willing to bring, let me know that too!

ACMers,

We'll be having a meeting on Thursday, November 10, from 4:30 to ~6:00 in the usual place: CS Suite, 2nd Floor Hodson.

The main purpose of this meeting is to finalize plans for the gaming competition with Mt. St. Mary's on Sunday.  Most crucially, due to a slight lack 
of interest among current ACM members, I'm opening up the field of people who may attend to anyone affiliated with the Hood community.  Some of you 
have asked me about this, so here is my answer: please let friends and fellows who may be interested know about this event, and invite them to the 
meeting on Thursday.  I'd like to use this as a way to recruit more students into the ACM, but even those who cannot or will not attend the meeting 
are invited to come.

Since Dr. Dimitoglou is supplying pizza, please shoot me an email before the meeting if you're attending, and if you're bringing anyone with you. 
We'd like to know how much food to buy in advance.

I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday!
