Undergraduate Programs

Computer Science (B.S.)

Students completing the B.S. major in computer science are well prepared for a career or graduate study in computer science. Graduates pursue careers in areas such as software engineering and technology management.

Computer Science Minor

The minor in computer science provides an organized exposure to the concept of software, its creation, structuring and uses. Study in computer science offers an additional career dimension to a major in virtually any field.

CS & IT Courses for Everyone

We have three courses that meet the requirement for the non-lab component of the core curriculum: Programming art, Computer Music, and Unraveling the Web. The only prerequisite is at least Math 099 or a Level II math placement score. We also offer a course in the Impact of Computers on Society that satisfied the Global Perspectives core requirement.

Web Development Minor

The minor in web development provides a substantial experience in web design and development for students who wish to develop or maintain websites in conjunction with their work in another discipline. The courses are designed to provide increasing depth, culminating in a guided practicum.
